Egypt Beat Tunisia In The Final To Become Champions Of Africa!

Erreà-sponsored Egypt won the African volleyball championship, beating Tunisia. The Egyptians dominated the tournament played at home, winning the title in Cairo in the final which ended 3-0 (26-24, 25-18, 25-21): the Egyptians took their sixth continental title in a row, equalling Tunisia’s tally of eight African trophies won.

The team will now have the chance to take on international volleyball’s best national teams in the World Cup scheduled for 8 - 23 September in Japan. By reaching the final, Tunisia also earned a ticket to the World Cup. The match for third place was won by Algeria, beating Morocco 3-1.
