Just one year after their relegation from the top flight of English football, the Canaries has secured promotion to the Premier League.
In the Play-Off Final at Wembley Stadium, in front of 85,636 fans, Norwich City, with Erreà as their Official Technical Sponsor, beat Middlesbrough and will join Bournemouth and Watford as the promoted sides for next season. A strong start from Norwich provided a 2-0 lead after just 15 minutes, with goals from Jerome and Redmond. This turned into the final score after a further 75 minutes without major incident and with Norwich in complete control of the game, Middlesbrough were reduced to a few timid attacks, with Norwich defending confidently and looking to counter-attack.
Thousands of Yellows fans exploded with joy at the sound of the final whistle and maybe even Snoop Dogg would have raised a cheer, after appearing on stage recently in his Norwich City home shirt. Premier League football will return to Carrow Road next season and, surely, Alex Neil will also be there on the touchline; after succeeding Adams in January he guided the team to 17 victories from 25 matches. At just 33 years old, he is likely to be the youngest manager in the premier League next season.
